The IGCS workshop will take place from 20-24th October 2014 at IIT Madras. It is coordinated by IGCS Professor Dr. Franziska Steinbruch and Prof. Dr. Indumathi Nambi of the Environmental and Water Resources Engineering Division, Department of Civil Engineering of IIT Madras, and Prof. Dr. Stephan Weise of the Helmholtz Centre for Environment-UFZ in Halle, Germany. The workshop aims at capacity building of young researchers and includes the discussion of potential Indo-German research projects in the fields of environmental isotope applications. The workshop counts with an invited number of participants and is funded by IGCS.
A guest lecture will be held on October 21, 2014 by Prof. Dr. Stephan Weise of the Helmholtz Centre for Environment-UFZ in Halle, Germany in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras in BSB. It is organized by Prof. Dr. Franziska Steinbruch and Prof. Dr. B.S. Murty of the Environmental and Water Resources Engineering Division of IIT Madras and IGCS. The presentation is open to all from universities, laboratories and industry.
